a trucks villain: 2008

Hi Friends.

Another year, another collection of favorite music. All the election fun kept me from listening to as much music as usual, but I still heard plenty I liked. As usual, the list is divided into songs that helped me (slowly) down the road on my runs ("Run") and everything else ("Walk"). I should point out that Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend had great 2008 releases that I recommend, but I left them off this collection since I treated them as late-2007 releases and included them on last year's list.

One artist to highlight for those of you in NEPA: Strand of Oaks (aka Tim Showalter) - he's from Indiana, but is living (and playing) in Wilkes-Barre. Catch him now while you can. His official debut comes out early next year and he may not be around much longer.
